Evidence & Attribution

Show the work. Measure the result.

The Frontier evidence model records what a programme delivers, what a client decides and what changes afterwards. It creates a traceable account of value without turning influence into unsupported attribution.

Current public evidence classification: V0: Illustrative. This release contains original method demonstrations and sample deliverables. It does not yet present a verified client delivery record or outcome.

The evidence position

Credibility begins with the claim we decline to make.

Frontier will publish a named result only when the work, the outcome and the client’s permission support it. Until a result reaches that standard, it is labelled as illustrative or withheld, not presented as proof by implication.

No borrowed credibility. No invented certainty.

Illustrative material can demonstrate method and document design. It cannot establish historic delivery, client endorsement, purchasing intent, financial return or future performance.

Verification scale

Every published item has an evidence level.

The scale makes the status of a sample, case record or result visible before a reader reaches the claim.

V0

Illustrative

Created to demonstrate method, structure or a possible deliverable. Not client evidence.

V1

Delivery evidenced

Frontier can evidence that the stated work and outputs were completed.

V2

Client confirmed

An accountable client has confirmed the described delivery and factual account.

V3

Outcome evidenced

The stated commercial or operational movement is supported by agreed outcome evidence.

Independent assurance is recorded separately. Where used, the assurer, scope, method and review date are disclosed. External review does not automatically turn weak underlying evidence into a stronger claim.
Verification and attribution answer different questions.

The V level states what has been verified: an illustrative record, delivered work, client confirmation or outcome evidence. The A level states what relationship Frontier can claim between its work and any later movement. A V0/A0 item is a synthetic demonstration. A V1/A0 item may evidence completed delivery without claiming a downstream effect.

Attribution discipline

Delivery, association, influence and cause are not the same.

A0: No downstream attribution

Record only

An output or evidence record exists. Whether it is illustrative or client-delivered is stated separately by its V level. No later movement or outcome is claimed.

Example: V0 synthetic record or V1 delivered output
A1: Associated

Movement followed

A change occurred after or alongside the programme, without evidence that Frontier materially affected it.

Example: account progressed during the period
A2: Influenced

Decision affected

Evidence shows that Frontier informed prioritisation, preparation, timing or another material client action.

Example: dossier changed the pursuit decision
A3: Attributable

Contribution established

The agreed evidence supports a causal contribution, with other material factors and uncertainty disclosed.

Example: a validated process change created a measured saving

Illustrative measurement blueprint

Agree how value will be recognised before delivery begins.

A commercial result cannot be interpreted responsibly unless the starting position, measure, evidence source, owner and decision threshold are agreed first.

Current evidence position: V0 method demonstration. No efficiency, pipeline, revenue or return-on-investment result is claimed.
Decision to improve

Reduce unsupported pursuit while improving controlled action on priorities whose evidence, fit and timing justify attention.

Baseline required

Investigation time, active-record age, duplicate or unsupported work, ownerless actions, stage movement, closure reasons and client capacity.

Controlled measures

Time to decision; weak cases closed before outreach; actions with owners and review points; priority movement; blocked work; learning applied to a later rule.

Evidence sources

Time sample, Evidence Record, decision log, Activation Brief, Priority Portfolio, client system movement and Outcome Ledger.

Decision rule

Targets and tolerances are set only after the client baseline is verified. No universal improvement target is assumed.

Two forms of value

Operating improvement can be visible before commercial return.

That operating movement must not be converted into a revenue, margin or growth claim unless the later outcome and attribution evidence support it.

Operating value

Improve how work is selected and carried out.

  • Less duplicated research
  • Earlier removal of weak work
  • Faster accountable decisions
  • Fewer missing owners or handovers
  • Controlled backlog and exceptions
Commercial value

Demonstrate movement in the market or account.

  • Relevant engagement
  • Genuine progression
  • Retained or expanded account value
  • Revenue or margin
  • Strategic market learning

These views are illustrative. They show the information architecture and decision discipline Frontier applies; they do not imply delivery for a named client.

Evidence passport

A public claim should carry its own limits.

The passport travels with each future case record so a reader can understand where the evidence came from, who reviewed it and what the claim does not establish.

Opportunity prioritisation record

Illustrative structure shown at V0. No client delivery or outcome is claimed.

Evidence levelV0: Illustrative
AttributionA0: No downstream attribution
SourcesSynthetic source-dated records created for method demonstration
ReviewReviewed internally by Frontier on 17 October 2026. Classification: V0 synthetic demonstration.
Permitted claimThe example demonstrates how an opportunity decision can retain supporting and contradictory evidence.
LimitIt does not establish market demand, client work, efficiency gain, revenue or buying intent.

Claim test

What can this evidence prove?

A sound outcome record separates the statement supported by the evidence from the stronger statement a reader might otherwise infer.

Evidence heldA dated dossier, client-approved pursuit decision and a later pipeline-stage change.
Statement supportedFrontier’s work influenced account prioritisation and preparation before the recorded progression.
Statement not supportedFrontier caused the pipeline progression or will generate the same result for another client.

Sample deliverables

Examine the work at document level.

Every public example states what it demonstrates, the decision it supports and the claims it cannot substantiate.
